The Ghost of Fraserburgh

Darkness hides the sins that light reveals. And so it was on the night of October 23rd, 1951. The morning dawned crisp and cold on the sleepy town of Fraserburgh, Scotland. The sun pushed through the stone streets and stone row houses of the city center like a thief stealthily prying up a door. Inching here and inching there until its rays splashed across the whole of the local square. With only a few thousand residents, Fraserburgh had only one train station which was in danger of being closed from lack of business. It was primarily a fishing village and the wind whipped off the coast into a person’s bones throughout the year. It was quaint and beautiful and was home to the first mainland lighthouse in Scotland, Kinnaird Head Lighthouse. Most of those that lived there were family or close acquaintances. It was supposed to be a place of rest and safety. It was supposed to be a place for faith and family. It was neither at the moment…

A police chief is stunned by a rash of local murders. Driven by a desire for justice, Elliot Crumford, III stretches himself to the limit. Will his mind hold out long enough to catch the killer, or will the Ghost of Fraserburgh claim his final victim, Elliot himself?

Come and enjoy the tale!
